SALEM, Ind. — A Washington County man is facing murder and arson charges after a Monday incident in Salem.
The Salem Fire Department was called to the 200 of Teresa Street around 7 p.m. for a mobile home fire. After the fire was extinguished, investigators found a body in the home and called Salem Police and Indiana State Police. According to law enforcement reports, officers interviewed the property owner, Joshua Brandon Risinger, 28, and after speaking with him, he was arrested and charged with arson and murder.
Indiana State Police are now working to identify the body.
