The police report continued that the officers executed a search warrant at Cecil’s residence in the 100 block of 11th Street in Elizabethtown on Tuesday evening. While there, they discovered an extensive methamphetamine distribution system. Stephanie Cecil has been charged with dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia.
A man, later identified as Travis Sneed, 23, was found hiding under a bed at the house. He has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance, and an outstanding Bartholomew County Warrant.
Spencer remains in jail for three outstanding Bartholomew County warrants, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
The operation was conducted by the Joint Narcotics Task Force (JNET), which is made up of officers from the Columbus Police Department, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department and the prosecutor’s office.
