NASHVILLE, Ind. — A Bloomington man has been ordered to serve over 10 months year in jail for a tire slashing spree in July 2016. Lavelle Albert, 19, pleaded guilty to 41 counts of criminal mischief in connection with the slashing of tires on 27 vehicles during a one-night crime spree in downtown Nashville last year.
Official court documents say Albert was sentenced to 1,230 days behind bars, with 914 of those days suspended if he successfully completes a substance abuse program, performs 40 hours of community service, and pays restitution of $8,405 to the victims at $35-per-week. He is also required to stay off Artist Drive in Nashville.
