COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County Sheriff’s detectives are warning residents about a new telephone scam.
Residents have received calls from 305-501-2223 saying they are in trouble and the police will be called if they do not call back. Reports indicate the message is heavily edited and not very clear.
Detectives say Do Not call this number back, if you receive a call from this number, just hang up.
