INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — According to police reports, an 18-year-old youth from Shelby County claims he was robbed at gunpoint and carjacked while trying to buy marijuana on the east side of Indianapolis. The report also said the teen told police he was supposed to purchase the weed at the Country Hearth Inn & Suites, at 21st Street and Post Road. At that location, the suspect allegedly held the teen and his 42-year-old female passenger at gunpoint. The two were supposedly robbed and the suspect took the 1999 Buick Century they were driving.
No injuries were reported and no description of the suspect is available.
