BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — A new era has begun for Indiana University basketball. School officials say former Dayton Flyers coach, Archie Miller, will be introduced Monday as the new head coach.
The 38-year-old was an assistant at Arizona, Ohio State, and Arizona State before taking the head coaching job at Dayton. Miller’s teams are known for smothering defensive play. Over his six-year head coaching career, Miller has a record of 139-63. Last season, the Flyers averaged 75.9 points per game.
Miller was a point guard at the University of North Carolina and played under Herb Sendek.
