FRANKLIN, Ind. — Construction crews are preparing to begin a $6.1 million project on U.S. 31 and State Road 135 in Johnson County.
E & B Paving will complete work on U.S. 31 between County Line Road and Stop 18 Road, State Road 135 between Curry and County Line Roads and State Road 135 from Bargersville to Stones Crossing Road. Work is expected to begin immediately following Easter.
State Road 135 North work will be done at night. State Road 135 South construction will be completed during day and nighttime hours. Patching on U.S. 31 will done during the day, while paving operations will be completed at night.
