BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. – Registration is now open for the Sheriff’s 2017 Youth Academy for Bartholomew County residents ages 6-13.
Children, ages 6-9, will have a two-day Academy on June 8 and 9, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with activities including safety courses, D.A.R.E., and K-9. Cost is $25 per participant. Youths, ages 10-13, will participate in a four-day academy, June 6-9, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with activities that include shooting range safety. The cost is $35 per participant. Scholarships are available for both academies. All participants will attend a graduation ceremony at the end of the event on Friday, June 9.
