COLUMBUS, Ind. – Emergency personnel and law enforcement were called to a vehicle fire late Tuesday afternoon on northbound I-65, near the 71-mile marker between Columbus and Taylorsville.
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) said both lanes of I-65 in that area were shut down for a short period of time while the blaze was extinguished and clean-up took place.
Eventually, INDOT stated that the lanes were reopened and traffic once again began to flow.
