NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence in Vernon Township Wednesday morning in reference to an alleged rape.
After completing a thorough investigation, deputies arrested the suspect, Tyler Lauderdale, 21, of North Vernon, and he is currently being held at the Jennings County Jail with no bond.
Lauderdale was preliminarily charged with rape, strangulation, intimidation, and battery.
Due to the sensitivity of the case, no other information will be released.
