NORTH VERNON, Ind. — Christmas in the Solar City 2022 is set for this coming weekend in North Vernon where there will be a parade, a Christmas market, live performances of Christmas favorites, kiddie train rides, and many more activities. The event is Saturday, December 3, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m., led by North Vernon native and Grand Marshal Patti Yount. There will not be any street parking allowed along the parade route or on Madison Avenue across from Stellar Plaza, but there are several city parking lots highlighted on the map just a short walk to anything downtown.
