NORTH VERNON, Ind. — The investigation into the death of a North Vernon woman continues following an autopsy Monday.
The body of Jama D. Brown, 49, was found in a lake in the 1900 Block of East County Road 100S, near North Vernon, Saturday.
The Jennings County Coroner’s Office confirmed the death was caused by drowning. It could take up to six weeks for the toxicology results to come back.
Investigators currently do not suspect foul play.
