BROWNSTOWN, Ind. — No one was seriously injured in a crash involving a Brownstown Central school bus Thursday afternoon.
City and county authorities responded around 3:45 p.m. to U.S. 50 near County Road 790W after the school bus was struck head-on by a pickup truck, police said.
The pickup driver told police he dozed off while driving and crossed the center line.
There were 21 children on the bus at the time. One child was taken to Schneck Medical Center for chest pain. No other injuries were reported.
