COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Fire Department is hosting a pair of behavior health workshops later this month.
“An Internal Sizeup” is a two-hour workshop, scheduled for Monday, April 22. It is aimed at educating firefighters and EMT’s on the awareness of stress, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, depression, anger, suicide, and retirement.
The following day, Tuesday, April 23, “Saving Those Who Save Others” will be presented. It is designed for EMS spouses and partners to help them understand the life first responders live in, and why they act the way they do.
If you would like to attend either workshop, contact Chief Mike Kutsco by sending an email to mkutsco@columbus.in.gov.
