COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus is ramping up plans to upgrade a stretch of Third Street. City council approved a $1.75 million plan for work between Central Avenue to California Street, and then north to Fifth Street. The project includes improvements for pedestrian walkways, plus new curbs and gutters.
Work could begin as early as March and is likely to wrap up in August.
