BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Council voted to appropriate a federal grant for an adult drug treatment court on Tuesday evening. The four-year grant, totaling $124,063, will allow the county’s court system to move the drug court’s first case manager into his or her role immediately, as well as provide for a public defender’s salary. The council also approved a biweekly salary of $2,303.96 for a probation case manager who will focus on the drug court’s cases.
In other business, the council elected Matt Miller as its 2019 president and Bill Lentz as president pro tem.
