COLUMBUS, Ind.–On Tuesday at the city’s weekly Board of Public Works meeting, the Columbus Police Department installed a new chaplain into its ranks. CPD Chief Jon Rohde presented John Bundick with the chaplain’s badge following his 2017 graduation from the Columbus Public Safety Academy.
The new chaplain is a 2002 Columbus North graduate and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Educational Ministries from Taylor University. Bundick currently serves as the associate minister at New Hope Christian Church, where he primarily oversees junior high and high school students, and college and emergent adult ministry.
