DUDLEYTOWN, Ind. – A Crothersville man is facing a murder charge after an incident Thursday morning that left one person dead. A media release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department states that Darrell Stanton, 56, arrived at his girlfriend’s home to find she was being visited by her son Dustin Robbins, 35. According to that media release, Stanton allegedly threatened Robbins and his wife with a shotgun and a struggle ensued, which resulted in Robbins being shot in the abdomen. Robbins was taken to Schneck Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
Stanton is being held in the Jackson County Jail.
