INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Today is Tuesday, March 12, and it is a big day for 42 Hoosier girls as they collaborate with leaders from Cummins for “Girls Inc. Advocacy Day” at the Indiana General Assembly.
Young women from Girls Inc. organizations throughout the state, including the Johnson, Jackson, and Shelby County affiliates, will join forces with several female VPs from Cummins today to advocate for Hoosier girls and to accelerate gender equality. Girls Inc.’s mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
Cummins Powers Women has positively impacted more than 34,000 women and girls since the initiative started one year ago, including many girls in central and southern Indiana through its partnership with Girls Inc.
