INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.–Eskenazi Health and Indiana Grown are slated to make an announcement on Monday, at 1:30 p.m., about a new partnership between the two organizations. Inside Indiana Business says Monday’s news will involve an effort to create and provide locally-made food offerings in the hospital’s food service areas.
Eskenazi CEO Dr. Lisa Harris and Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch will take part in the event at Sidney and Louis Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, which will also serve as a “food-networking function” allowing Indiana Grown members to connect with each other and local business owners.
Indiana Grown is a statewide initiative that recently reached 1,000 members who want to help consumers find products grown, raised, produced, and processed in Indiana. Crouch hopes to double that membership in the next two years.
