Flood warning continues until Wednesday – Road closures

COLUMBUS, Ind.–A flood warning is still in effect for the East Fork of the White River until Wednesday morning. Its current level is 10.5 feet, a foot-and-a-half above flood stage. The river is expected to fall back below flood stage on Tuesday before midnight.

These roads have been reported closed or having hazardous conditions by emergency management agencies:

• BARTHOLOMEW: SR11 at 550 S is now closed, barrier tape is placed going both directions.
• BARTHOLOMEW: South Gladstone closed
• BARTHOLOMEW: A QUARTER MILE E OF TALLEY ON 250 N Small amount of water remains
• BARTHOLOMEW: W 400 N/Tinkey Bridge – Water across the road.
• BARTHOLOMEW: 800 S, between S Jonesville Rd and US31 – Water across both lanes of traffic, west of the bridge.
• BARTHOLOMEW: 900 N between 300 E and 200 E
• BARTHOLOMEW: TELLMAN RD OFF OF INDIANAPOLIS RD WATER FLOWING ACROSS
• BARTHOLOMEW: SOUTHERN CROSSING IS CLOSED
• BARTHOLOMEW: Closed Rocky Ford Rd, West of Marr Rd
• BARTHOLOMEW: S 150 E/SOUTHERN CROSSING, JUST NORTH OF SOUTHERN CROSSING IMPASSABLE

• BARTHOLOMEW: 800 S, between S Jonesville Rd and US31 – Water across both lanes of traffic, west of the bridge. (Bartholomew County Emergency Management)
• BARTHOLOMEW: 5000 W Georgetown Rd Several inches of water on the road.
• BARTHOLOMEW: 300 E / 600 S High Water.
• BARTHOLOMEW: W 400 N/Tinkey Bridge – Water across the road.
• BARTHOLOMEW: 50 N near Bull Run, just east of Clifty School.

• BROWN: SOUTH END BEAR WALLOW COVERED IN WATER
• BROWN: 135 S UNDER WATER AT SLABS AND STONEHEAD
• BROWN: GREASY CREEK HAS WATER CROSSING ON NORTH END AND CREEK IS UP TO BANKS.
• BROWN: AVOID SPEARSVILLE ROAD AT THE COUNTY LINE
