FRANKLIN, Ind. – “Seven times is way too much,” according to officials. Johnson County Sheriff Duane Burgess says a repeat offender was taken into custody this week and he’s not leaving jail any time soon.
Steven Wagers, 35, has been arrested seven times in the last six months, and nearly 30 times over the last 17 years. Most of his arrests stem from thefts and drug possession.

Both times officers allegedly found drugs on Wagers. He remains in the Johnson County Jail.
