JASPER, Ind.–German American Bank has been recognized by Indiana Statewide Certified Development Corporation (CDC) for its utilization of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loan program for small businesses.
German American tied with First Merchants Bank for the most SBA 504 loans approved in 2018. Mark Franklin of German American accepted awards for the bank’s volume of loans and for placing in the Top Ten of SBA 504 lenders with Indiana Statewide CDC. The accolades were presented recently by executive director Jean Wojtowicz and program officer Sandy McCleese, both of the Indiana Statewide CDC. Greg Cardinal of German American was also honored for producing the most loans by an individual in 2018.
Indiana Statewide CDC said it is pleased to partner with German American Bank in providing SBA 504 loans to small businesses. The loans offer rates and extended repayment periods to small businesses that are generally available only to large companies in conventional business loans.
