INDIANAPOLIS — Local child advocates were among 300 recognized by Gov. Mike Pence Monday in Indianapolis.
The governor touted the $2 million increase received this year by the state’s Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program. Pence also spoke about more money to be offered to the state’s most vulnerable children.
Twelve advocates were from Bartholomew, Decatur and Jennings counties.
