GREENWOOD, Ind. — Mayor Mark Myers, Judge Gregory Lewis and City Clerk Jeannine Myers were among city officials sworn in on New Years Day in Greenwood.
Myers begins his second term as mayor and called 2015 a productive year.
“We got the Worthsville Road project finally done, the new Interstate 65 interchange is done and the Greenwood Town Center which will be a shopping district on the east side of the interstate at County Line Road,” Myers said. “We’ve done more than 30 ribbon cutting ceremonies with the chamber of commerce.”
A downtown facade enhancement program, storm water improvements and creek enhancement projects are scheduled for 2016.
