GREENWOOD, Ind. – A Johnson County woman was taken into custody Sunday night after police say she punched her husband, tried to grab a gun from an officer, and left her 18-month-old infant in the care of her 8-year-old child while she and her husband went out for drinks. Law enforcement says Moriah Nesler, 26, of Greenwood, was apprehended Sunday night after police were called to Peppers, a bar on South State Road 135.
Nesler was arrested on charges of domestic battery, resisting law enforcement, public intoxication, dependent neglect, criminal mischief, disarming a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and battery. She is being held in the Johnson County Jail.
