HOPE, Ind.–The city of Hope will host its annual Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration this Friday, June 29, on the Town Square, from 5 to 11 p.m. A parade, with kids riding bikes, trikes, wagons, scooters and strollers is scheduled to roll at 5:30 p.m. Judging begins for an apple pie baking contest at 6 p.m. There are games, crafts, music, food, and booths all afternoon and evening, plus a fireworks display at dusk.
