INDIANA – Gas prices are on the rise across Indiana. There are several factors at play right now but most of the market forces moving gas prices higher are seasonal.
Gas stations have continued to raise prices at the pump the last couple of months, up about 50 cents a gallon. Industry experts say the reason for the uptick is due to the fact that oil prices have increased to $58 a barrel, the highest in months.
According to AAA, drivers in Bartholomew County are paying around $2.44 per gallon.
