Sheriff’s association announces scholarship opportunity

COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Indiana Sheriff’s Association (ISA) is offering scholarships to students pursuing a career in law enforcement. Bartholomew County Sheriff Matt Myers says there are dozens of the $750 scholarships available to Hoosiers.

In order to qualify, the applicant must be an Indiana resident and a current member of the association, or the dependent child or grandchild of a current member. The candidate must be enrolled as a full-time student and attend an Indiana college or university with a major in the criminal justice field.
