SEYMOUR, Ind. — Jackson County commissioners have lifted the county-wide burn ban. The ban was issued on November 23, after a fire was reported in the Jackson County portion of the Hoosier National Forrest. That fire was extinguished by the U.S. Forest Service and local volunteers.
