High water still has many Johnson Co. roads closed

FRANKLIN, Ind. – Johnson County Sheriff Duane Burgess says many roads are closed in the county because of high water and he is pleading with motorists to not try to drive through the water. Obey the signs and do not drive around barricades.

Sheriff Burgess says do not drive through high water because you do not know how deep the flooded area is nor do you know how swiftly the water is moving.
