NORTH VERNON, Ind. - North Vernon Police officers conducted a complex narcotics operation that resulted in the arrest of James Wade Baker of Indianapolis on Thursday, June 18.
At approximately 11:15 p.m., Baker was taken into custody following a narcotics investigation targeting the distribution of methamphetamine.
During the operation, Baker allegedly attempted to flee in a vehicle and resist law enforcement officers before being apprehended.
Baker was arrested on preliminary charges of:
- Dealing in Methamphetamine
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Obstruction of Justice
- Resisting Law Enforcement (Vehicle Flight)
- Resisting Law Enforcement
- Driving While Suspended Prior
- Possession of Paraphernalia
