SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Schneck Foundation Scholarship Committee has announced a new scholarship for female medical students, and is continuing college award opportunities for those interested in pursuing studies to prepare them for an allied health technical/professional career.
The Amanda K. Dick Honorary Scholarship is available to women who have been accepted into medical school. Primary consideration will be given to candidates from Jackson, Jennings, Scott, and Washington counties. Candidates from other counties will be entertained, depending on available funds and at the discretion of the committee.
The Allied Health Scholarship is for those who have been accepted into academic programs in fields such as speech therapy, respiratory therapy, lab technology, pharmacy, physical therapy, and radiological technology.
Beginning January 15, you may obtain applications for either scholarship at www.schneckfoundation.org, www.schneckmed.org, or by contacting the Schneck Foundation/Development Office at 812-524-4244. Applications for the Allied Health Scholarship will also be available from counselors at local high schools.
