SEYMOUR, Ind. – A Seymour man is facing charges after crashing a stolen vehicle Tuesday. According to the Seymour Police Department, Ian Gardner, 26, was traveling on East Tipton Street at a high rate of speed when the car left the roadway, struck a culvert, and rolled multiple times before being struck by an oncoming vehicle. During investigation, officers discovered the car driven by Gardner had been stolen from Columbus earlier in the day.
Gardner faces numerous preliminary charges including theft, operating while intoxicated, and reckless driving.
