COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation could be one step closer to naming a new superintendent.
The school will not announce the selected candidate until contract discussions conclude.
“We have selected a candidate, but that is dependent on what is decided at the contract meeting next week,” BCSC School Board President Jill Shedd said.
BCSC will conduct a public meeting to discuss details of the superintendent’s contract at the administration building at 7 p.m. Monday.
The current proposed contract is for three years with an initial annual salary of $170,000. Benefits, retirement, auto allowance and other miscellaneous items total the contract above $233,000.
The new superintendent will replace the retiring Dr. John Quick.
