BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind.–The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office says three people were arrested on drug charges after law enforcement responded to a suspicious vehicle report last Friday near County Roads 700S and 100W. Deputies say that when they approached the vehicle, a male subject ran inside a nearby mobile home.
While several attempts were being made to identify the individuals inside the home, a search of the vehicle was conducted by K9 officer Diesel. The police dog allegedly hit on the odor of narcotics. Three individuals from inside the residence were apprehended and taken to Bartholomew County Jail.
Nathan Shephard, 30, of Columbus, was charged with false informing, possession of methamphetamine, possession of legend drug injection devices, and a previous Bartholomew County warrant. Justin Sebastian, 33, of Columbus, was booked on possession of heroin and paraphernalia charges. And Emily Unsworth, 25, of Columbus, was charged with false informing, and possession of paraphernalia.
