EDINBURGH, Ind. — Local veterans will soon have a closer location to receive medical care when a clinic opens at Camp Atterbury.
The clinic will offer general medical care including checkups, blood draws and X-rays. Those needing specialty care will be required to continue visiting a full-service hospital.
“We have over 7,000 veterans in this area, and it would be easier and less travel for them to go to the new clinic,” said Bartholomew County assistant veterans services officer Larry Garrity.
A grand opening ceremony has been set for March 30.
