FRANKLIN, Ind. — Hundreds will attend a visitation for a Franklin teen who died Friday from a rare form of cancer.
Family, friends and former classmates will honor Kaleb Buck, 18, during the visitation at the Franklin Community High School gymnasium from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Buck was honored last month during a special graduation ceremony at the high school. Nearly 1,000 people attended as Buck crossed the stage to receive his diploma.
Buck was a member of Victory Christian Church in Franklin.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and being outdoors. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and developed a personal relationship with infielder Brock Holt.
Buck lost his four-year battle to a rare form of cancer called Ewing’s sarcoma.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center in Franklin.
