WHITE RIVER TWP., Ind.–The number of thefts in White River Township continued to rise over the weekend. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department says that more incidents were reported from the Innisbrooke addition, which is near the locations of the last two series of robberies in Johnson County. This time, the reports say mostly unlocked vehicles were targeted, with thieves making off with CDs, a weed eater, a handgun, work computer, and hand tools. Sheriff Doug Cox is asking people to take their valuables inside at night and to put their vehicles in the garage if possible.
