INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The National Weather Service (NWS) has extended the Flood Warning until 11 a.m. today for parts of south-central and southeastern Indiana. Bartholomew, Johnson, Decatur and Shelby Counties are included in the warning.
Some of the cities that could be affected are Columbus, Franklin, Hope, Shelbyville, Greensburg, Edinburgh, Whiteland, and Greenwood.
NWS says that when encountering flooded roads, you should “turn around, don’t drown.” Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can dos so safely.
